Oil Leak

Went to cruise thing today at the Foster Freez and found that I have a oil leak. I thought my engine was a little dirty as we where installing NOS but checked my oil today and was almost a quart low. Looks as if it maybe leaking passed my underdrive pullys or something. Its not really runny or oily just looks greased up... any ideas? I am going to pull the pullys off and cake on some RTV back in the Key way and put it back together we will see.

THIS WAS BEFORE NOS HAD LEAK! NOTHING TO DO WITH SPRAY!

Going to spray it down with brake cleaner as well as change oil and add more sealer to pullys monday I guess. If still leaking going to throw on stock air box, take out CAI, and bottle out of trunk and slap stock tune and drop it off at Ford Dealer let them fix it since under warrenty still. We shall see...

be careful going to a dealership. my buddy works at one and they had a guy with a cobra who kept blowing motors. after the 2nd motor my buddy lifted the carpet and saw the holes for the nos bracket, then he checked out the rest of the car and found enough to prove he had a nos kit installed and was yanking it. they told him to come pick up his cobra and voided his warranty.

VP I have a pulley puller, and if they ask why you have a couple holes in your trunk just say you had an aftermarket amp in your trunk

Vp I have a gear puler that will work. I used it on this car and on my fox. Just let me know and you can borrow it anytime. Its good to have a compresser and air tools to break the bolts on pully loose though

Drew Ford is one of the best dealers in my opinion I am sure they will fix what ever is wrong. I have had the knob on back of the seat to lift it break off twice. No questions ask I pull they look go to parts get me a new one and throw it on...
When I wrecked my car and my insurance wouldnt pay for my rental anymore I talked to Mr Drew about it and explained that I needed to get back and forth to work ect and my car still isnt done he said no problem called down stairs got me a ford rental. Told me keep it for free as long as my car was at ther shop. He just said " thank you for your service. me and my family appreciate it"

I don't know anything about those cars, but isn't the crank pulley the only one that could possibly leak oil?

For the first year I owned my Lightning, the techs at Drew took tons of digital pics of my engine, pullies and anything under the hood. They were looking for any reason not to honor my warranty. Three times, I had blown spark plugs right out of the heads stripping the threads. Each time they replaced the head under warranty.

I don't blame them though. If I had put underdrives on and boosted the SC boost, that would have been their excuse for the sparkplugs blowing out.

But since the engine has NO MODS, thee wasn't much they could do but fix it.

7 year 75K mile warranty paid for itself, 3 times over!
