One Question Morality Test

There's a morality test with only one question, but a very important one. It features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a choice. Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous.

THE SITUATION:

You are in Florida. There is chaos all around you caused by a hurricane with severe flooding. This is a flood of biblical proportions. You are photojournalist working for a major newspaper, and you're caught in the middle of this epic disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless.

You're trying to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the water. Nature is unleashing all of its destructive fury.

THE TEST:

Suddenly you see a man and a woman in the water. They are fighting for their lives, trying not to be taken down with the debris. You move closer. Somehow they look familiar. You suddenly realize who they are. It's Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi!! At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take them under forever. You have two options: You can save their lives or you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize winning photo, documenting the deaths of two of the world's most powerful people.

THE QUESTION:

Here's the question, and please give an honest answer...

Would you select high contrast color film, or would you go with the classic simplicity of black and white?

If you are a photographer, that knows what he / she is doing, as a photographer, and a decent human being, you can 'shoot' and save. The camera; a water proof SLR digital. Want color? Got it. Want B&W remove colour. Save people and shoot at the same time.
A no brainer.

Color and multi-frame so I'm sure I get every moment as they get swept under. I'm hoping I have a video camera, too. So, I can make a movie out of it.

thats f***ed up. i gotta say i am no obama supporter, but give the guy a chance, not like we really have a choice anymore anyways. what do you think would happen to our country if he died...we are already having the worst economic problems in years, the stupid ass war were still in, and then you hit us with another disaster wiping out florida, then you want to add in a presidents death. our country would simply fall apart like new orleans post katrina. crimes and lawlessness and no hope of ever pulling out.

Thats a no brainer, I'd get my camcorder and sell the footage to the news media. That would get me a lotta parts/mod money for the stang!

There is waaaaaay to much killing and people dying in general all over the planet without some man with a junior high school mentality making jokes out of it all. I don't think 'he' would think it so funny if he were the one needing to be rescued while some nimrod was egotistically wondering what film to use hoping his pic made it to a freakin' magazine. It is so easy to sit behind a computer and make ugly jokes and complain about politics and people. How about being a human with a compassion, a little support and kindness for a change? Now THAT would change the way things are for the better all 'round!

Considering Pelosi has been in her seat for far to long and I cannot see one positive aspect in 71 days of our new President's reign...yes, he thinks he's a king...I wouldn't take time shooting the picture. I'd lock and load to make certain nobody else had the opportunity to save either one.

BHO said he would unite the nation. In all the bills he has passed he has only recieved 27 total Replican votes. UNITY MY ASS!!!!! I WANT MY COUNTRY BACK!!!

I would shoot color, black and white prints can always be made w/ color negatives. Gotta go with Subzero too; video would be nice....

Yeah....but you don't get the same quality of B&W made from color film as from for real B&W film. The color printed B&W come out a little muddy. I know. I was a pro at this. But....WTFC? :) Unless you use AGFA...but I don't know if they even exist anymore. blahblahblah
