Seriously, I am truly frightened by the implications of such a law! If they can dictate to us what color our cars can be, what is next? Wake up guys, this is scary stuff. Is this the land of the free? Or will we be trampled under seemingly well intentioned laws?:wtf:

I dont think they could rightfully do this. It might be some dreamed up plan but the legalities of it would not work.

Welll I would be willing to bet, they could try........at least enough to cause a hardship for the car owners.....

I would be willing to bet they would outlaw the sale of new cars in dark colors and not mess with the ones that already exist. But then again......maybe they will just try to TAX people with dark cars to help the CA budget.....I mean the cow fart tax didnt really work out so now why not go after people for the color of their cars......LOL

I blame all of this on blood sucking lawyers!! You guys remember back in school when you would get in fights etc.. and threaten there lives.. Even though most of the time no one was killed or even seriously injured. Well aparently now, if you tell someone you are going to kick their ass, they can prosecute you for terrorist threats.... WTF!!! What is the world coming to if you cant have a black car or kick someones ass LOL

Save energy and reduce emissions.....buses, ambulances, rigs, patrol cars (to name a few) shouldn't be allowed to idle when its not necessary. How many times do you walk by one of those "emergency vehicles" sitting in a parking lot or left unattended just idling?
