Opened Our New Cutter Today 01JUL09

Alright everyone just got home from my vacation and got our Creation PCUT CTN630 vinyl cutter up and running in no time.

Man that is a big box

Everything was nicely packaged

All the software and cables

CTN 630 Vinyl Cutter (Ebay Purchase)

Hooked it up to my laptop via the USB cable supplied.. Laptop does not have serial output connector.. Hope I have no issues

Seem to be working ok with the Pen.. Will try to cut something tomorrow.

other way around... I have USB and do not have serial connection.

Small note on Plotter:

The cutter will communicate with the PC most reliably using the PC's Serial (Also known as RS-232 or COM) port. Although a USB cable is included, the USB port "emulates" a Serial connection, and some customers report problems using the USB cable. If the PC has an unused Serial port, that is the preferred method to connect the PC and the cutter.

Little do they know about my computer expertise that is why I got it to work with USB and printed out the HELLO Sign

My Second and Third adjusted the blade cuts good now...

Bottom you can still see where its cutting the bottom page and the top is alot better...
