Paint Question....

So I'm purchasing a new hood and want to know how much paint will be needed to paint it. I can get a quart can for $75.00.... And should I go with a Urethane Clearcoat, or Acrylic Lacquer Clearcoat??

I believe it depends on your base coat. If your color coat is acrylic then your clear should be the same. If I were you, I would get like manufactured products. For example: if your choose to use PPG for your base then also use PPG clear coat in accordance with the manufacturer. Hope that helps..

Thnx, yeah I know that either way I go I need to use the same for clear coats, base colors.... just didn't know whether one was better than the other.
