I'd rather not. I'd rather find a booth somewhere and do it all at once.

To be honest...

I think the SMARTEST thing we can do is chip in and pay Earl Sheib to shoot it one color after we all have a weekend work party prepping it (sanding, bondo if needed, straightening panels, alignment) and then bring it back and decal it, paint any accent colors.

It's a race car! With as much graphics and decals as we might be putting on this baby, there is no way anyone is gonna know Earl Sheib or Maaco or any other shop painted it.

That's my idea.

We can come up with $199 for paint, right? Hell, WS has made $40 this month alone from decal sales!

If I were to paint it one part at a time, I'd have to set up and tear down 20 times!

NO Dealio, Emilio! LOL

yeah i think earl sheib is a great idea because its a fricken race plus will have stickers on it its made to go fast not necassarily to look good plus paint is just extra weight

Why dont we try to get Earl Schieb to sponsor us and paint the car with whatever scheme we come up with for free.......then we put their name on a whole quarter panel?


Come on people.....they would get lots of advertising for a 199 dollar paint job. I mean come on. It is worth a try but this is one Emilio needs to take care of as the president.



For a quick reality check though.......who cares what it looks like......IT HAS NO ENGINE IN IT!!!!!!!

We need it running well enough to take it down the strip before we think about paint. Just my .02.

The Earl Scheib "sponsorship" idea is great!

Get it running, take photos and have a sit-down lunch with the local Earl Scheib franchise owner and pitch the idea.

Baltimore street mods has great vinyls. Not saying you dont GT400, but if we can cheaply buy sets of stripes, or flames already done why put you through the work and wasting your materials and wearing on your machine.
