Pan hard bar brace:

This is a very easy install. I started by removing the stock brace with a 14mm socket for the two flush mounted bolts on drivers side. Then moving over to passenger side of car ther is one 18mm bolt and nut that has to be removed. After getting old brace off remove all the packing material off the new brace. Line the bolts up on the drivers side and reinstall factory 14mm bolts. Then loosen the pan hard bar its self in passenger side to give you enough play to slide the other end of pan hard bar brace into place in frame support. If you miss this step it will be harder to slide new brace into place. Tap the new brace into place spreading the brace from the frame. After your hole is lined up slide your bolt back through and tighten bolt with factory nutt. Make sure you remember to tighten the pan hard bar back up. This replacement takes more time to get the tools out than actual install. LOL

Tools:
14 mm socket
18mm socket
ratchet
breaker bar

option:
air tools to make job quicker.

Is it an adjustable PB? If so how did you know how far to adjust it? If you just put it in at the same length as the stock one, the rear will still be a little off center. The adjustable should be shortened a little from what the stock one was IF YOU HAVE LOWERED THE CAR.

Pan hard bar was already replaced. I should have did both at same time but didnt know.. when driving down highway the bar was so stiff it was actually bending the stock brace giving my car a little side to side movement about 70mph letting off gas. Mine is not a adjustable. I didnt need a adjustable for drag. They are best for road course ect
