perry ford of national city has the worst customer service of any dealership i have ever been to. i purchased a car from them. a week later it overheated and threw a code. i take it into them like wtf? and they have it for a total of 4 days just for them to tell me that they have no idea why it did it and whats wrong with it. not to mention all the time i spent at the dealership waiting. on and the 3/4 of a tank of gas they wasted in the meantime and the 100 miles they put on my car.

I took mine in to get an oil change and to get the little plastic seat release replaced after it broke. Well.....the next day when they were finally done with it, I found that they backed it into a cement pole.....didnt want to take responsibility for the damage. After all was said and done they did fix the bumper, even though it wasnt a great job, at least it was fixed. I wouldnt go there if they were giving away GT500's. I hope they fail at everything and lose their dealership. I am only pissed because they tried to blame me for the damage........but the one camera that would have caught where the accident happened, ALLEGEDLY was not working that day! How convenient A$$es......

Perry FOrd can burn in hell.

Im sorry to hear you had to deal with such awful service, i hate going to Ford dealerships. I know the worst dealership i have had to deal with is the huge one in Las Vegas but i was forced to go there after our F-350 blew the o-ring on the oil return line after the turbo and covered a few streets in oil. Our truck sat in line waiting for hours while we waited in the dealership, then after they started working on it it took them a few more hours, when come to find out the o-ring is easily accessible and only takes a few min to change if you have the correct tool. and since there was oil all over the truck as most of you know Ford has to pressure wash the truck for safety reasons, but they did an piss poor job, i could have done a better job with my eyes closed. when it was all said in done it cost us a few hundred dollars to change a $.10 o-ring! f*ck dealership service departments!

for both service and sales, you should be receiving a survey in the mail. For sales most likely mail and for service most likely a phone call. Service writers and salespersons paychecks are directly tied into the customer service scores.

Keep in mind, all the saleman did was sell you a car that was in inventory owned by the dealership. In this case service department could have handled it better. Don't flame the sales guy when all he did was facilitate you getting the car you wanted from the dealership. If he did great in the sales process, give him a perfect score. If service was bad, give them a bad survey.

I had an appointment for a routine oil change and replace the brake pads and it took them six hours to get the job done! When I drove my car home, I noticed there were scratches on my rotors. I took it back to Perry Ford the next morning and complained. They tried to pin the blame on me, but luckily the service advisor, Jessica, was there and she contacted her supervisor who later agreed to resurface my rotors free of charge.

I have noticed that at first Perry is bad for service but they always seem to make up for it but its the hassle of it.But if you go and talk to Tony in Service he should hook you up.

Papa Tom, I did exactly what you described. When we purchased my car, on the "included" list, there were supposed to be floor mats. Well there wasn't. And there wasn't any on any mustang on the lot! We did speak with the sales manager (at that time a guy named Walter, sweet guy), anyway, he promised to get them at not cost to us. IN the meantime he was transferred, the new manager had no idea what we were talking about. Well, it was word of we didn't think it would take so long for the dealership to receive any, (about 2 months)! Said we had to bring him the proof and such. The new guy called Walter and agreed to the deal, but certainly not without a lot of time and pain on our part!

yes. no one should have to go through that. that's why it's important to get that "due bill" or I.O.U's so that it's in writting with a manager's signature.

Dont like dealerships and really dont care for any mechanics I cannot sit and watch. To many of them take shortcuts and dont really care if the car goes together properly. I know that new cars are a different story....if it was me, I'd be speaking to the owner.

My brother (a marine) recently turned in his 5.0 convertible in for C4C program. Perry Ford tried to change the interest rate a couple days after he bought the car... he ended up getting the rate they agreed on but after alot of argueing. I am not fond of Perry either.

I will go back to Perry because I have a hook there for car sales and service. If you need anything car sales wise - talk to only Steve, (white guy about 6 ft spikey hair, funny laugh) and for service I work with only Tony.

If you need to - tell then I told you to talk to them and they should take care of you like they did with Joker and Step on mii
