<div>I would consider myself a diehard manual transmission guy. Though I don’t discredit automatics, I like having full control over my car when I drive. The problem is when you get over 700-800 horsepower, a lot of traditional 5-6 speeds become iffy on their reliability. Pfitzner has realized this and designed a T56 6 -speed transmission that can handle over 1000 horsepower. <br />

The heart behind it all is the host of billet components inside. Billet cluster shaft, selectors, and input shaft. You also wont find any syncros as the gears are cut for a dog box engagement. That means you can up and downshift without the use of a clutch. Though Pfitzner says that they recommend using the clutch on the street. Also making this transmission street-able is the helical gears and not the whiny straight cut versions. You can get the transmission with standard 5th and 6th gear or helical cut as well.<br />
