Plenum Cover M-6949-3V

The one from "GT Appearance Package". Includes the studs. Waxed but never installed. Label on the box calls it a "Plenum Shroud". Definitely makes for a choice: Shelby Billet Strut Brace, or nice Plenum Shroud? No contest.

If you are close enough I could Frisbee it to you.

Just so you know, the Bangastang Plenum covers fit under the strut brace.

:D Just so you know I know: NO cover will fit under the Shelby Billet Brace. Unless it is less than 1/32-inch thick, or the same shape as the plenum section that rises up to within 1/32 inch of the rails of the Shelby Billet Brace. Just no room there. Not enough arch in the Shelby Billet Brace.

Anything that fits in there is likely too flimsy to be of any use, and will be in contact with one or both surfaces, not a satisfactory circumstance when one part is fixed to the body and the other to the engine.

Unless it's paint on the plenum itself. I've seen articles by some who have removed, sanded, primer-ed and painted the plenums. Look good, but not worth the effort, to me. I might pay a hundred dollars to a craftsman who would do it, though, including R&R.

Any road, my nice factory pony-Ford-Powered cover still goes begging.

Cheers!

Yes, I have the Shelby twin-beam bar on the coupe, works fine, clears by 5/16ths inch, no problem:

This is the Shelby Billet Bar, no way it goes on without interference:

(EDIT: What is this doing in the tires/wheels section? Dummy.)

With all the plenum covers and strut braces, thanks for the pics. That helped ID the one you meant.
