power loss

Ok here is my issue, i feel as if i am losing power. Sometimes going down the road the car sputters for a second then ita fine. Also i am burning through gas fast. There is no check engine light and the car shifts fine. Any ideas?

Are you getting a check engine light? 4.6 or 3.8? Miles?

No check engine light and its a 3.8 and just over 113k miles

I had the same issue with my 06 4.6, No check engine light ever came on. I changed my spark plugs and coils and fixed my problem. I would start changing plugs maybe?

I agrea with 50hhh had the same problem in my 04 mach 1 it was a bad coil and plugs.

It has new plugs and wires already

Maybe a bad injector then? I believe a bad injector doesn't trig a check engine light either.

I tried the injector cleaner it helped a little. I do want to put in larger injectors though

If the injector is bad, a cleaner is not going to help. May need to replace it.

So Now the problem is going to be how do u find out which injector is the bad one.

Ill prob just replace them all with 24# injectors

Clean your MAF sensor.

Yeah, if you are going to replace your injector, replace all of them.

Would bad injectors cause me to go through a tank faster?
