BadBullitt
Old Guys Rule!
I just picked up my Bullitt from JB Racing here in San Diego for a base dyno run and some power upgrades including Steeda UDPs,JBA shorty headers a plasma booster and a custom tune. The first thing I noticed is more exhaust growl from the headers,it seems a little throatier and a little louder. The second thing is throttle response which is much quicker and the engine wants to rev quicker from right off idle.Traffic was very heavy on the way back to work so I can't give an overall impression but I am impressed with the dyno numbers.
These were done on a DYNO DYNAMICS load bearing dyno and the folks at JBA claim that it's more conservative than Dynojet and some others.
Stock numbers were 296 rwhp @5458 rpm and 316lbs rwtq @4366 rpm.
After the upgrades the hp was 341 rwhp @6421 rpms and 348lbs rwtq @4430 rpms.
I'll give you all a full impression on how it drives after this weekend .
