putting together a 460

Got it timed and carb adjusted so good it fires right up. This is a cold start.

I'd better finish lingering projects before getting into the 90 Notch, so I had the Flowmaster exhaust installed along with a new hitch receiver and trailer brake controller (all the wires hanging in the background)

well, I forgot to plug the air injector holes on the back of the heads, and it's a very tight fit!

I handled that issue and check out what happened when I gave it some encouragement!

Now I need a distributor. That P.O.S. d.i.s. system I bought literally went up in smoke!

All the circuits smoldered and the fuse didn't even blow.


Anyone have a distributor for a 79 F250 with a 460?
