Well I quit smoking at 11:30 PM on 30 April 2009.
I was having some medical issues and doc couldnt figure out what was wrong...I went through 3 CT Scans, 2 MRI's, 2 Xrays, 15 viles of blood for tests, 7 specialists, 1 breathing test, 2 urine samples, and several other needles and medications.......the only thing they could come up with was that the issue I was having had to be from smoking........
They gave me several weeks to get ready to quit and enough time for the wife to get into the doc and get perscriptions too.
Well we both have quit so far with no issues. The patches are working and it has been 15 days now. I am happy about it and have saved a bunch of money.....
AT $5.00 per pack.......(Rounded off from like $4.80 each pack)
Daily savings: $10.00
Saved so far: $150.00
Monthly projected savings: $300.00
That leads to an annual savings of..................$3600.00
WOW and to think the cigarettes are only going to go up all the time so that number would be higher the next year and so on and so on......
All of the wellbutrin and patches were free from medical for both me and the wife.
I highly encourage all who smoke in the military to goto medical and get the stuff to quit.....that is almost enough for a S/C in 1 year!!!!
Mod the cars with the money that way you see what you are getting for your money.
I have bought a few new things for my classic restoration so far and Michelle will be getting a magnaflow exhaust for the TBSS in the next week.
Thanks for reading.
