Race car work day 5/22 friday

Since a couple of us non-working Navy guys have this Friday off, we are planning a race car working party. I want to start this one a little later in the day...11am until Monica throws us all out.

The plan is to take care of the small list of requirements left for the car, especially our drive shaft problem. The fix for the driveshaft is to remove the rear section and install an AOD back half. Then the driveshaft will match up to the transmission. We also have electrical work and some fabrication to keep the shifter in place.

Plan on running this car in June at the test and tune at Barona. Orange, CWO and ?????? (race car) will be testing out new installs and setting new bench marks. Hope everyone is ready to enjoy a milestone day at the track.

Now if that doesn't inspire you to get out of your mondain job and come help, you're in the wrong club. :D

PS: I know that most of you cannot get away, but at least try!!!

What he meant to say is swap it out with a AOD back half.. The C-4 back half is not compatible with the 4r70W tranny we have.

AOD / 4r70w have capatible parts one beening the tailhousing:) lucky I have an AOD one in the back yard....

What's up with the brakes? If you guys have the pipes and turn downs you can bring them over to my house. My father-in-law is a welder. I will be welding my own exhaust this weekend, so it would be a good time to bring them by.

The rear brakes are not engaging. After we installed the manual brakes, new master cylinder and manual bias, they were never bled at all four wheels.
