well if you get out of the hole at qualcom like we do at barona you should run 2 tenths faster at the q. the elevation at barona kills ets.

2) Shifter mounted
3) Carpet cleaned up
Next on Thursday 5NOV: (if you would like to assist drop on by)
1) Clean up the wiring
2) Mount the computer
3) Bleed brakes
4) Bleed oil pressure gauge

no its not a converter. what i got was not the cheapest way to go and i expect to get some flak for it but when it comes down to it it is the direction that i wanted to go and the one i felt most comfortable with so thats that. my girl is haveing a vortech after cooler put on along with a new 90mm mass air. i get the car back friday so i will be racing. but thank everyone for the advice and a stall is something i will for suer be keeping in mind for the future

Where did you get an aftercooler? the 90mm and cooler air will get some power, you gonna retune the car?
I ran a 7.8 at Barona and got yelled at and told if it happened again I would be kicked off the track lmao.
I really dont like the people that work Barona. I will leave it at that in case we have some kind of sponsorship from them.

The converter probably would have been cheaper and netted you way bigger gains than the above mentioned mods. Good luck I hope it works out for ya. Until you can launch closer to peak torque the extra power will only come into play later in the rpm range. May not see much of a gain in the 1/8th mile.
Who is tuning it? JBA?

Did you turn up the boost? you can run 10 or 11 lbs safely, where you score an after cooler?
If I go get the BBQ, I want a chance in the race car.

some BS happened today with my SERE course, i decided to drop because they wouldn't be able to take me as an instructor:nonono: so...... i will not be going to Warner springs and will be able to run tomorrow night....
