They didnt have a good turn out tonight due the the crap that happen last event. They did announce that they assure that it will never happen again and CHP said they just happen to be coming through needed back up and then other racers where messing around on street.
Of course no on from W.S. showed. Stang pede was out in full force had a dozen cars out in parking lot. Mustang nation was there so I just parked with them.. they took home a first place trophy.
Met a couple guys who maybe joining forum. One guy drove a Cobra R (real car 5.4 liter) The other guy had a silver 07 with couple mods done.
Now for the good news! I met a guy tonight that was really cool. Came in a modded viper 1000 plus HP. Seems he is a big invester and and into anything that moves fast. Has 3 moter cycles. Has raced boats in past Still holds speed record. Like I said drove a Viper has a Ford GT, BMW M5, some sort of Fiarri and a couple other super cars. We talked for a while about tracks ect. He is going to buy some land in Temecula and open a 1/4 mile track and road race track next year. He is waiting to pull 45 mil out of a investment he had made to start looking for land. Has his garage up in area where he stores his Auto collection. Anyway I talked to him about the club and it turns out he likes the military. ( prior navy enlisted. has old sec of def. and a retired admiral that work for him lol ) He actually rents tracks for friends to get together and have a good time. He said he has rented button willow, california speedway and barona. Tries to do this at leat once a month. I have his buisness card and he wants me to shoot him a e-mail and give him a link to our website. He wants to come on and get to knwo us ect. He said he doesnt own a mustang but has plans on buying a new KR once you dont have to be on a waiting list. I thought would be fun to do when he rents one of these various tracks to go out and have fun and make a event out of it.. What do you guys think? Had to friends there with modded vetts that said they go do auto cross with him alot. He usually brings out viper and his Ford GT to these and just has fun.. ( for those of you who went to barona. The Ford GT in parking lot was his ) He has made many investments and donations in San Diego area. Racelegal, Barona, Coronado Speed Festival to name a few.

Guys, I didn't mean to rain on your parade about the CHP being there and people getting tickets and what not but I thought you ought to be aware, just in case. I didn't mean to ruin anyone's plans. But it beats getting a ticket!
