racing seats

hey everyone....just wondering who all has racing seats in their car that actually fit right. i got some the other day and just bought wedge engineering seat brackets (the only place that makes brackets for 3a racing seats) and they fit all the holes, but the drivers seat is about 1"to the left. anyone else have that problem? how did you fix it? could i get some help?

in the floor?? no, the last guy did enough of that....i have more holes in my floorboard than a block of swiss cheese. i would like to file out the holes in the brackets, but i am already hitting the transmission hump with them....dont know how much further i can go. they said to take a sledge hammer to it, but i dont know if i want to go that far...ya know

okay...problem solved. the brackets are adjustable, and i have to put the right side all the way down and the left side all the way up. it sits strait as hell now. quite a bit higher than i would like. no short people can drive my car, cause i can barely reach the clutch, but its comfortable

LOL Glad you got problem fixed. they sell floor pans for your car just cut and weld

yeah...i cant weld...and i just put everything back in....i think i will leave it as-is until i do a complete tear down and rebuild...when i become a milionaire....lol
