Oh, I have PLENTY to say and I will say what others are thinking!

"Buy Black" is the American-African's version of "White's Only" on a public bathroom door in 1960 in Anniston, Alabama.

"Buy Black" is the American-African's version of "No Negroes" outside a diner in 1964.

"Buy Black" is the American-African's way of saying "PHUCK YOU, WHITEY"!!!

It's pure 100% unadulterated racism and we "crackers" are now allowed to do the same, apparently.

Back home for me is quite a racist area of the country (Western MD/WV Panhandle/Southwest PA).......never even saw a black person till high school and there was just 2 kids. There were no Hispanics or any of that. I have seen alot of racist crap back there. But, I never understood it and never bought into it.

I see stuff like this though and it makes me sick.......

If people would all just judge each other based on them instead of their color we would be accomplishing something. Until then, it will just continue to get worse.

Instead of "Buy Black" or "Buy White" or "Buy Hispanic" or "Buy Whatever" why not try

Well, most of you know my ethnicity. And I agree with you guys. They are holding themselves back with their victimization and "they owe us" mentalilty. And that type of attitude sickens and pisses me off. So I'll borrow their word usage "my people" faced the same type of discrimination and were singled out not allowed to enter or immigrate to this country in the 1800s. But guess what "my people" didn't let that hold us back and "we" worked hard, went to school, supported ourselves and made a success with our lives. "We" did not allow for victimization or "they owe us" mentality to keep us back. "We" are proud of our ancestry, but we are also Americans. Work hard and be a success and not a burden.

In case those that don't know me, I'm from a Chinese ancestry.

It is 100% pure racism and I am sick of it... Being from the American South, I am quite often labeled a racist simply due to my accent, and I am sick of that too. Granted they were slaves, granted there was WAS discrimination, BUT, that was long ago... Nobody alive today was enslaved or a slave owner... Discrimination was stamped out decades ago. What is the problem???
Why is this supposed to be OK? why can there be a United Negro College Fund (worthy to be sure) and that isn't racist, but a United Irish College fund would be racist???? (or United German College fund, Or English, Danish etc...)
Slavery was a terrible thing ITS OVER AND DONE. Discrimination was a terrible thing ITS OVER AN DONE... GET OVER IT!!! Lets get on with our lives.

They will tell you the discrimination isnt over and to an extent it isnt. As long as you can look up in the history books that Whites owned Blacks it will never truely be over. But..we are a point in our country where it is better than ever. However the Blacks are doing more harm than good to themselves because of this sorta segregation. Fighting the fight when there really isn't much of an opponent. On the large racism is viewed as an evil by all people. Even though some still are..they are a much smaller part of the mass. We need to be human beings now and treat each other as such as let the racist see that there isn't anything to be racist against. Not fuel the fire which is what is now being done by several of the African Americans. -Shane

Danny makes the best point of all.... The chinese were treated Terribly with utter contempt and brutality, especially during the opening of the American west. They overcame with hard work and integrated well into the American society. The problem is some groups CHOOSE to segregate themselves... They Choose to rail against the society, that they claim to be excluded from.
This country is the melting pot! we are diverse and from the diversity we gain strength. What is white anyway? I have to check the block that says "caucasion"? My ancesters didn't come from the Caucases? I am Nordic/ Germanic, aren't I? Am I allowed to identify with that? Or would that be racist? I am an American of German decent, I am most proud of the AMERICAN part!
