Ran 05+ Black GT last night

It was around the 163/805 area. Three honks by him and we were side by side from 60 to 120 till traffic. He asked what I had I said "optional performance gears 3.15's that's it". He said his GT was supercharged. I figured cam and full bolt on's. My vette is a pig, think this guy was pullin my leg ? I figure a FI GT would be able to pull with over 400 to the wheels. It was a m5 and the guy could drive. He didn't lose any ground on his shifts.

And how do you know it was an 05 and not an 06 or 07 or even an 08? You guys did all this talking on the freeway at 65 mph or did you go to some gay coffee house in Kearny Mesa after the race?

O5+ Mustang GT's don't have "a cam", they have 2 cams.

Did you race a Mustang GT or a BMW M5?

05+ stang,
aren't all maustang GT 's with a manual transmision m5 's ?

3.15 gears? I got the lowest gears of 3.31's in mine....I dont think you can get a 3.15 for the stangs.

Or were those what you have?

Sorry, I'll keep off your boards, just lookin for insight. We talked at the light after we got off the road, he was a cool guy. Next time I'll just post how a supercharged stang can't beat a completely stock Vette on LS1.com. Moderators you may now ban me.
