I've had dual qual's since a PFC but only a sharp shooter with the pistol and expert the the M16. I hate the M9

Congrats on your quals man Mexican Also an expert myself and a Small Arms Instuctor in the Navy. I noticed your scoring and it's hella different than we do it. Best for the rifle is a 200 and 240 on the M9. Actually went through SAMI in San Diego 3 months ago.-Shane

Ill agree with you JJ, the M9 blows. I like the .45 better. Too bad they dont let us qual with it, even though thats what we train with.

JJ how you dual qual as a PFC? whats ur mos?

dude anyone can dual qual as a pfc or lance. when the schedule the range if they have open slots for pistol they take whoever gives their name. we have a bunch of nuggets who get pistol qualed.

also, PMO is required to get pistol qual'd. i know the military was thinking about going to the springfield xd45 as the main service weapon, but dont know whatever happened. maybe it cost too much or something

I have a Springfield, never looked back compared to the 9mm I had in the grunts. Those were awful.

I know since I was PMO before I went down to the depot...I havent seen many slots for lances and below on the pistol range unless its a T.O. Weapon... jus wondering his MOS, maybe I know him. lols.
