rock gaurds on a 64 1/2

hey everyone i was lookin at my sister 64 1/2 and i was wondering were the rock guards go??? do they go on the back as well as the front? and it so what way does the pointy end of the piece go i thought it went towards the top of the car but i might be mistaken. also there are two extra holes in the bumber that i have no idea what they go to im thinking the rock guards go there ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT

If this is what you are talking about, it goes in front of and below the grille opening.

The front has a valance also.......where the lights go through at below the bumper. The Stone deflector is mounted just above the valance and below the grille. it is hidden mostly by the bumper.

Try this link then goto page 179. zoom in and check out the exploded view of the car. It may help out.

yes if it was a v8 deluxe front and rear but they mount to the valance not the rock gaurd. you said rock gaurd and that is behind the bumper in the front under the grill opening. the valance is under the bumper in the front and rear

alright thanks i think my sister is going the way she wants with it anyway so whatever she think looks good i got her back 100 % lol
