Route 66 cruise pics

Here are the pics from the RT 66 cruise. The trip from the AZ boarder to Kingman was freaking awsome. One of the guys from BMCforums had a dash cam, so as soon as I get a copy of the videos I will post them also. Might do another cruise on Labor Day, my wife was bummed all weekend that she missed it. But she also wants to hike to the bottom of the canyon so that would take alot more planning. Enjoy :thumbs:

It was really sweet. Nothing but sunshine on the drive out. On and off rain at the canyon though. Might do another on Labor Day, wife wants to go in a bad way.

My daughters birthday is Labor day so that one is out for me....LOL

The cruise was awesome. We WILL be planning another cruise. Talking with the wife on the paticulars. She really wants to hike to the bottom of the Canyon, but not sure when her knee (ACL surgery) will be ready. The window for when to go is pretty small if you do it along with the 66 cruise. Its going to start getting really hot for the drive. If we wait to long then it gets to cold to go to the canyon. I think Sept or October would still be a good time frame. Definatly want to do more on the 66 the next time. Probably will make the next trip a three day event instead of just two. I will post up any plans once when me and the wife decide. Don't know how many times she texted me, where you at, hows the drive, hows the weather, when you be home..... If you guys are down, I am definately willing to put another one together. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

There were only the three of us, since some people can't keep there calender straight:alberteinstein:. But hopefully with the pics, and if I can get a copy of the video from Kobie off BMCforums, the next one should be bigger. Im also going to put it on more forum. I found some GM and import forums I might post on. Hard part is getting people from other forums interested. Still deciding if its going to be two or three days. Kinda had to rush through 66 to be able to spend time at the Canyon. So it will probably be a three day trip next time. Same route, just more stops to sight see. And an early arrival at the Canyon so we could leave by three. The trip home is a good 7 hours vie I-40/I-15.

As you get older you forget what day of the week your on the only thing that matters is your awake when the sun comes up :rock:
