RPMOutlet: The Jury is In

OK, I finally got pissed off enough at RPMOutlet because the rest of my last TWO orders (placed over three weeks ago), still hasn't been shipped. They don't even bother to send an email saying shit is backordered, but they DO bother to debit your account upon placing the order! So, yesterday I tried calling them several times. Each time I would dial their number, it would ring once and they would hang up. I was now fairly livid, so I carefully crafted the email below:

Hello,

I have been awaiting the delivery of a waterpump pulley that was part
of a 'kit' for about three weeks now. The time stamp on the email
below says 19, April. I subsequently ordered another idler pulley for
my Mustang, as there are two on the 4.6 engine. I understand how the
parts business and backorders work, but what is unacceptable to me is
the fact that your company will not communicate with the customer
concerning their order status. At this point, you debited my account
on 4/25/07 for the extra idler pulley, and I haven't received so much
as a tracking number. I would like to know where my backordered
waterpump pulley and idler pulley are, and when I can expect delivery.
For the record, I had planned on purchasing several more parts for my
car(s) from RPMOutlet, but after this experience you can rest assured
that I will take my business elsewhere, and will NOT recommend you to
anyone in the future. Furthermore, if I don't have a response in the
next 24 hours, I will contact your State's Attorney General's office to
register a formal complaint.

Sincerely,

Jim Brooks

Well, they owe me two more friggin' pulleys, then I am done with these assholes. Now they are not answering their phones, and my car is torn apart in my garage. Do NOT make me come over there, cuz I WILL get rough and tough and wear my diapers low, dammit.

I finally did get my other idler and water pump pulleys... NINE WEEKS after I ordered them. My wife joked that it only took me nine weeks and ten minutes to install them... LOL. I did submit a complaint to the BBB about them. I haven't gotten a response yet, tho. Btw, the whole process for reporting a business to them is really kind of a pain, so if you ever have to, make sure you keep all emails associated with the company in question, and keep a log of all calls, dates, etc.
