S/C with 4.10s and manual

I may get a S/C when I get back from my 6mth vacation. I am leaning towards a centri s/c. Procharger is my number 1 choice, but would also like input from those with 4.10s and T/S S/C. I know this combo would be okay if I was running drag radials, but I don't feel like changing tires every 6mths, as I drive about 20-25K per. year. Are 4.10s with a T/S a PIA to drive with street tires? When I return, would it be possible to test drive someones car with 4.10s and a t/s?

I've been running 4:10s with my Kenne bell 2.1L for about 2 years now. Drive it everyday to work and race on the weekends.

Don't get me wrong, I like these gears. It's not real bad, BUT it is a tad much with how the kb comes in quickly. It pulls thru gears little quick. And on street tires.. LOL it just lights them up easy. I am going to 3:55s before I turn my boost up.

In your case tho, if your going with a centri/sc, 4:10s would be great. It will help you out of the hole on the low end.

Alot of ppl run 4:10s with centri. I've heard its a good combo. Sure there's someone on here that could tell you.

I am leaning towards the centri since the do make their power in the upper RPM ranges. The thought of a T/S crossed my mind when I read that JDM had Saleen S/C on sale for around $4500.

I know I will go back and forth as I have at least 5 more mths out here, but I am considering going T/S. The only time I will race the car will be at the track and I will buy some M&H drag radials. I think as long as I can keep my foot from mashing the peddle during my daily commute, 4.10s and a t/s should not be a problem.
