Firestorm 2007 Benefit Car Wash
OK guys here it is..... This is in the works WickedStangs San Diego. The plan is to have this on Saturday November 10th, 2007. The proceeds from this would be donated to the American Red Cross to be for the victims of the San Diego fires (those who have lost everything). There is not alot of time to put this together so I need everyone to assist on this one.
What is needed:
1. A good spot for about 20-30 volunteers to conduct the wash and show our cars at the same time. This would preferrably be in a high traffic area that will get us maximum exposure.
2. Volunteers to come out and spend most of the day washing cars even if they are not MUSTANGS. We will need about 20-30 for the day.
3. A PR rep to contact radio stations or television stations locally to get the word out about it. That way we get more people to come and give money for the cause.
4. Supplies....I think that is self explanatory.
5. Some people to bring a grill and some food for us during the day.
6. Someone with accounting skills to make sure we keep the money side straight.
7. A good attitude and passion to help others.
I know this is short notice with the planning but anything you guys can do to help would be great. Thanks I am hoping this will go well and get us recognized. Emilio let me know what Sponsors want to be involved and if I can put their logo's on the flyer or not. Also, what do you have as far as locations?
I was thinking like JBA but it is a little out of the way right?
PETCO would be ok but I don't know how much traffic we could get down there or if they would want cash from us for it.
Sports Arena is very high traffic and we may be able to convince them to let us use their lot if there are no events planned there.
