That car is a beaut!!!! Damn Tom, how can you contain yourself from driving her, I know I wouldn't be able to. But Congrats and yes, she's more beautiful in person.

Thanks everyone :hello:

For now she's tucked away protected from those darn UV rays

I 'may' let her out to beat on some Z06's this Wednesday, but not sure yet. That's alot of miles to put on her in one day from Fallbrook to El Cajon. This weekend I put over 200 miles on her and I'm a bit hesitant to do it again so soon

Dangg I would be driving that thing not pulling it around in a trailer

I would have driven the car home, but a 293 mile maiden trip is just a bit too much. Not to mention the swarm of Highway Patrol on the 15 from Nevada through the California desert. I would have been too tempted to get in trouble

Man, Papatom, we all know and agree you have one bitching car man. I just have to agree with the others here and say that cars ARE meant to be driven and you only live once brother, live it up!!!

On a side note, the couple that picked up their Terlingua the same day you got your SS were a couple I know in the TEAM SHELBY Forums, They remember you too.

oh and Myz has almost 10k miles on her car, we can't stop driving it lol!!!

my thought is:

enjoyment of vehicle > $$$$ received selling it with low miles.

while the cash would be awesome, the experience of just enjoying something YOU spent money for / on outweighs it. there are memories you'll have driving it that could only happen once. if the time ever comes for me to ever sell a car i've enjoyed, i NEVER want to look back and WISH i did something in it.

but, you have a beast of a car tom... :)

I kinda agree with tom. I wish that we didn't have as many miles as ours does. DD though so yeah. But every once in awhile is good. Looking forward to possibly moving back to Hawaii so that we don't put as many miles on it.
