Should I get a tune now?

Guys and Gals....should I go ahead and get a tune done with what I currently have in my car (CAI, header and exhaust) or is it a waste of money and wait to do it after I get my adders? Recommendations and suggestions are very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

i would say wait to you get your every thing that will modify the a/f ratio and then get the tune to sqeeze all of the juice out of the car.

After I put my headers, prochamber and intake I took my car to R.E.T and I gained 30rwhp and the throttle response was way better. If your not gonna get your other mods for awhile I would say get it. It was well worth it for me I was happy with the way my car ran after the first tune, but of course I got used to it and went with a S/C.....

Yeah, I figure it will be at least 4-6 months before I get the S/C and T-body adders. I'll probably do it to squeeze what I can out of what I got.

Being that you have done headers it wouldn't be a bad idea. I have seen where a guy put a full exhaust on his car and it backfired like crazy till he got the tune. If you ca find a good price on a good tune, go for it.-Shane

My tuner which was Rick at Amazon Tuning Solutions in South Carolina tuned my car and said you pay for the tune once no matter how many times we change it. Just pay dyno time each time. If you get a good tuner like this then retuning the car every so many mods wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. -Shane
