Smog

Has anyone tried smoging there car with a catted O/R X-pipe? I still have my stock h-pipe but just wanted to see if it's been done.

I just kept my stock H-pipe in the garage and switched it out every couple of years when I had to do a smog. I know it takes up space but it was well worth it.

I still got my stock H-pipe too... Just didn't want to switch it out.

Good Morning, Which catted O/R do you have? I have seen them pass with aftermarket ones. But, it been a while.. not sure how streak they are now..

Morning... It's a UPR catted X-pipe! Was gonna try to run it, but been hearing they want pass. Don't have to smog for another year... Just want to be prepared when I do.

Well normally the 96-98 cobras have 2 sets of cats, am I right? Not sure that matters, just has to pass the sniffer test.

Just go do a test only smog station. They won't send anything to Sacramento.
