I feel your pain on mileage. I pull my car trailer with an 08 F150, that has an 8" lift and.....a 38 gallon tank! at 9 mpg when towing.... it HURTS

yeah, i can see that. the lift kills. the body kit on the yukon helps a little with mileage aerodynamics. its a 6L v8 which isnt the worst part. the full time AWD is what gets thirsty, but thats the main part i wanted.

I know all about the 6L myself.........I looked and we are getting 9.9 MPG on this tank. You should get about 15 usual on that though. Remember mine has a different tune to it.

well, mine is not the LS2 either. its only rated around 340hp. but so far i am getting an average of 14 all around town earlier, and i got 20.6 highway. i was extremely impressed. it was at cruise on 70mph comming back from escondido

We have seen over 19 on the highway.....and in town usually about 12-13.....

You got a better setup for family vehicle though....Lower horsepower without a performance tune, better mileage, and more seats. I like those. I think you made an excellent deal. If you dont mind me asking what did you pay for it, and where at? I looked at one similar back in June.......It was a decent deal then just wondering if it was the same ride.......

well, heres the run down. i already told you its loaded. with everything you could ever dream of. leather, power everything. nav, rear DVD with cordless headphones. heated seats, 3 zone climate control. rear captain seats, 3 rows. AWD. 6.0L v8, tow package, roof rack. i can go on forever, bottom line. way more than i need, but i love it. i owed 12 on my pontiac. they offered me 4 for it. the vehicle on KBB is worth 30,900 for retail. so i told them i had $30k check and thats it. they told me to put like 6k down then the 3k check. i said no. then they said 1500 down. i said no, that i would think some more and talk to them the next day. then they tried to get me to look at an 06 denaly with more miles. i said no, then an H2. i said no. and decided to go. then they were like. okay, 30K even with 700 down. so i felt compelled. they actually met my offer.

over all i ended up spending 19-20k on the denali and 8k upside down from my pontiac, and 2k for tax title and licensing. its expensive, but im actually driving a vehicle worth what i owe on it. plus im gonna pay it off in 8 months...lol

hey with the seat covers......dont do it.....just get some good Meguiars leather care stuff and keep it clean.....my back seat has survived the little ones just fine......just vacuum every few weeks and treat it. The leather is easier to keep clean than the cloth seat covers.....and if something spills on the seat covers........it will soak through onto the leather anyway.....The carpet is the big deal. leather cleans easy. the carpet stains easy......

Just a thought from someone who has had both leather and cloth.....leather is easy to maintain.

ACTIVATE the basic onstar program. it costs a little bit but offers a good deal. And will drop your insurance rate a little bit..........

lol, this trucks got a little giddyup, but nothing like your ss man. i know aobut the leather keeping it clean vs cloth, thats why i wanted it, im just worried about the wear on it. i want it new forever.. im looking at some accessory stuff that will retain the clean look. what do you guys think of these head lights and parking lights. keep in mind my whole grill is chrome and it should match well

BJ.....Tag it the way I did the SS.......Passenger rear quarter window......cause they dont see the drivers side quarter window when you are passing them in the fast lane.....

For tint check out SoCalStangs for their modile guy.....Rrobello on there is the man with it. They did my fronts and it is as close to the back windows as you can get.....Was 70 for the front doors tinted at 20%....

DO NOT GET THOSE LIGHTS.........THEY LOOK LIKE CRAP.......Halo is gay on a full size SUV.......Just shave the emblems off. They are just double sided 3M taped on........I got black out vynils for my SS badges off ebay for like $15.....the black out badging on the silver looks good. Tint the windows the same as the rear darks and it will look great on silver.....I am doing my tails on the SS also for the finished look......

i dont necessarily want the halos, but i want them all cleared. i wish i could break the light apart and get the amber out and put it all back together...lol.

i would have to put the decal on the driver window, cause im alwayys getting passed by the people in the fast lane...

there are no emblems to pull off. the only thing on there is DENALI. thats it. and it looks really good, so it probably will stay. but i will look into your guy about the tint. i want to get that done before i go up to WA in december. i cant stand people being able to see me..
