Ok i got some info on this pile. I have no idea when it was last smogged. i bet in 08. Basically all my info that i knew has been cited and found wrong. the car was given to a wrecking yard. was totalled out. its basically just a parts car. unless someone wants to jump through the DMV Nazi hoops.

you can check smog history here www.smogcheck.ca.gov/applications/VehTests/PubTstQry.aspx but it seems to be down atm.

i wish you were closer i would jump on it just for the motor an trans, would be a fun swap into an old pinto or capri.

ok i went to the DMV and it is registered until March of 2010. If i want the title right now i can either pay the reg fees and smog it or wait until 60 days prior of the expiration date and register it non op. thats what i plan to do unless someone wants this thing. IT HAS A CLEAN TITLE!!!!!!! After this great news i would like 900 for it (what i paid for it) but will negotiate a little.

No i was told by people it had a salvage title. No it has a clean title. Straight from the DMV. i was skeptical of it being still registered. but it is until March 27th 2010. no i dont have the money to get the title right now cuz of christmas. i will get it after the 1st when i have funds. still needs a cat. and a rad fan.

this car as it sits right now is worth 1600 bucks. NADA says.

this is what nada says for low retail, they also say my pace car is worth $11,000 dosent mean i am going to get it lol, good luck with your sale man.

Low Retail Value
This vehicle would be in mechanically functional condition, needing only minor reconditioning. The exterior paint, trim, and interior would show normal wear, needing only minor reconditioning. May also be a deteriorated restoration or a very poor amateur restoration. Most usable "as-is".

Some of the vehicles in this publication could be considered "Daily Drivers" and are not valued as a classic vehicle. When determining a value for a daily driver, it is recommended that the subscriber use the low retail value.

Note: This value does not represent a "parts car".
