What does it cost to run? Anyone have a helmet and can some one give me a lesson on how to drag race?

If I am running do I have to pay for others in my family to enter? Or are they free?

If I have to pay then I am out......I cant afford 100 just to come out.......

just go to the MWR office at the nex and you can get discounted tickets there for like 25 or something and it's 30 to race if you pay at the track. I forgot how much it is to spectate. But for the record i think im going wicked stang on this trip, thats if i go.

if you want your family to ride when you race you ahve to buy them a racer ticket too. i know, it sucks. it is 25 on base to race, and $6 to spectate.

Emilio, why would I be scared? I could not beat you as I have never been on a drag strip before so I do not know what I am doing(Not because the SS cant do it, as it would be able to with an average driver).........But if I did beat you that would be great for me.....

It would be a win win for me regardless.

The AMG is rated 0-60 6.4, and the SS is 6.3...... Hmm real close.

I wish this event would have been after the holidays. I have too much crap to buy right now.

Gibs get with me and I will help you out and explain everything before you actually run. Its actaully really easy. Dont wait for the green go on the last yellow. depending if you have soft tires or not if your going to try to do a burnout. I would try it first time second drive around the water. Just see what would give you a better time. Its all for fun and bragging rights anyway. You could always let some air out to make a wider pattern for a better grip as well. There are a few other tricks but...

Its only 25$ for u to race and its 6$
for the wife to watch the kids get int free. It
will be 31$ total for you.

I am running Goodyear Eagle RSA's..........I dont need the water for a good burnout.......LOL Just look at what barely touching it does to a Target parking lot....LOL

The tires could be wider but they are ok.....They seem to hook up well taking off from the line and all.
