I was testing out a theory of mine to Monica and of course I won. I told her its bad to run lean and she did not believe me:)

OK,Ok the Real Truth..
Well, I just finished replacing the plugs on the car and tweaked the hell out of the bands for my CAI. When I got on the freeway for a high speed run WIKD500 all of sudden went into a lean condition. Turns out my already cracked CAI that I was to lazy to replace, and the quick fix that I did with electrical tape and some gasket gunk prove to be a bad idea. The car got un-metered air before the Throttle body and caused the car to go lean. I stayed in it, and felt a real bad nose drive. So, I let off for a split second and got back on it when all of a sudden all my interior light came on and white smoke was flowing all over the freeway..:(

Here are pics of the Tow Company picking up WIKD500 and off to RPMM

see the way the Tow company employee is tieing her down..

WARNING!!!!DO NOT USE STRAPS AROUND THESE TYPE OF WHEELS.

Look what happens with straps lucky for me the tow company was honest and cut me a check the very next day for new wheels coming soon:)

Here is a VIDEO of me following her to RPMM (Listen to the music)

The guys at RPMM got HOT on the car and had everything out and ready to go. They are just waiting for me to make up my mind on the route I want to go..:) Thanks Greg, WES, and anyone else I missed.

Well Here are pics of what have been failing for a lot of the GT500 guys. The stock GT500 is weaker than the Terminator's stock bottom end. The ONLY reasons why you see people with higher HP numbers on the GT500s, as opposed to the Terminators, is because the 5.4L doesn't rev as high and has more displacement. It uses Mahle pistons and shitty cracked cap Mahle I-Beams. .... The upper ring glad goes. Look below at number 7 and 8 piston:(

WOW pieces of the piston were jumping around and also caused damage to my cylinder heads:(

Looks like JR will be stopping by the shop this week to look at a nice combination for me to go with. Lots of options.
There is talk about punching the block to .20over and replacing everything with better rods and pistons and balanced and blueprinted.
Nice more Cubes.. 330cid to a 5.8L:)

Another idea is to go with a MMR short block:
400700.jpg

I say, "you need to build the motor yourself". You're telling me that the president of WickedStangs has his car at a shop to have all the work done? I do not understand what is going on? Can someone update me on how this came to be? :nonono:

Who here thinks Emilio should just do it right and let us do a stroker and the 4.0L whipple!

I agree. If you're going to invest time and money into a project, get it done right the first time. Since he cannot even tighten the bolts on a wheel, someone has to get it right for him.

E I would say the MMR short block... It's already good to go all you need is your heads ( I can see a port and polish job in the near future) and all the accessories, but Greg I have read an ariticle from Evolution performance with the Kenne bell LC supercharger they are claiming 32 psi but no hp numbers as of yet Look up their facebook page it's BAD ASS!!!

Emilio it really all comes down to how much monica wants to put back in her car, If I where her and money no option i would do the 4.0 whipple. Then the only thing she would have to buy is tires

This is an old thread. Emilio already got a new motor with some nice upgrades in it in the car several months ago.
