Can anybody keep track of them all over the last 4 years?

Now tell me about them.. And the differences that is awesome. I went to Ford dealer today and saw a real nice looking grabber orange shelby 350 with silver strips. They told me they only made 200 and it was signed by Carrol Shelby. I really like it. Check it out.

Yes that is the California Edition Shelby GT. They did only make 200 of them. And they have discontinued the Shelby GT already. They only made them from Jan. 2007 to June 2008. Numbered and Limited edition. It is basically a GT/CS with stripes, a special hood scoop, and FRPP Power Packs/Suspension/Gears in it. Also it has the Shelby name on it. So it will not just be a Modded Stang. It will be a collector car in the future. They are a blast to drive from wht I hear. They also come in White with Silver stripes, Black with silver stripes, Black with Red stripes(Barrett-Jackson Edition), Blue with silver stripes, Orange with silver stripes(only shipped to CA dealers).

*****EDIT*****You can order them to be built with a Paxton Supercharger from Shelby Autos in Vegas. Fully warranteed. The orange ones are all built though I believe.

If you go on Ebay or Team Shelby website you can find a pretty good deal on them. There is a dealer from the east coast that was going to sell me one that was still at Shelby in Vegas being modified. His name is Michael Morris on their boards.......

I am so tempted in getting into a new edge mustang that I havent even driven one.

Emilio, do not buy one unless you get ahold of me or let me know the price they are giving you. You should not pay more than $500 over invoice before rebates and incentives!!! Michael offered me a loaded Vista Blue coupe for $500 over Invoice and I would pick it up in Vegas. And had the chance to get the S/C put on it still.

You can find some good deals on GT500's right now. There is a red on one San Diego craigslist for like 44-48K.

That aint too bad for a 3600 miles 07 GT500. All red stripe delete.

With 3 years left in the Navy, I can't see myself paying 800month payments. So, I just going to either stay with my 04 Cobra or look for a New Edge GT or Specialty. I am not picky

OK so assume you got a newer GT........
My GT with the 500HP whipple would make 465+/- on the dyno......The one guy on the MAC Cruise had that setup. BTW: you keep the factory warranty with having it installed by Ford. Would run about 7500 with install.

2008 Mustang equivalent to mine purchased with X plan from Blue Oval News Forums....28K 500 HP whipple S/C....7500ish, all FRPP performance packs on the Shelby GT 5K.....

Total cost of a Bad Mutha F***er.....under 41K!!!

There are some things on the Shelby GT you can not get.....plaques, hoodscoop, and a couple other small visual things. ALSO the fact that it is a limited edition. But if you will not have it for 30 years will that matter all that much? If you do not care about it being a SHELBY but you want the car set up that way.....go with a GT and MOD it. The dealers in the local area want to feed you a line of BS about those cars. They told me it had a Custom Flowmaster exhaust that was completely different than my regular GT.....Yeah not so much....it has an X pipe and the same axlebacks that is it. And they are not Flows. They are like Corsa I think with a FRPP name on them. The custom Shelby suspension it has they told me about is the FRPP suspension kit.......made by Eibach....Get my point. They are BS ing people about what these cars are. 25 extra HP with a tune that I can get from ford and some FRPP parts. OK so if you buy a new one get an X plan and then play the numbers game with the dealer. Xplan on a new GT would be about $75 below invoice before Rebates and Incentives. If they do notgo that low then use it. The Xplan price for each Ford is on the bottom of every invoice.

They did not make the Grabber Orange Shelby GT except this year and there are only 200 of them all were sent to CA dealers. That means it is limited. Your call but I would seriously think about it.

Give me a call if you need more info. I have researched the crap out of these because Michelle wants a Vista Blue one.........

HEy what is the difference with a Deluxe and Premium GT?

Deluxe may not have the My Color display and some other attractive options, like Driver Info Center.
