There are really not many wires that you can take out that will make a difference under the dash. Unless you are an electrician I would just leave them in and zip tie them up. I took out some stuff and now I have issues with my dash lights and when the car is off with the key out the dome light would stay on! LOL..

Also The sound deadening came up relatively easy in mine with a hammer and chisel. Took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to do the whole car.

On the cams I would use the TFS cam it will match your intake better and the alphabet cams are way outdated and they pretty much suck. Personally I would sell both and go with a custom cam from Flowtechinduction.com or camshaft innovations. They are worth their weight in gold!

If you can find some stock V8 springs from a fox or SN95 they will work better than the drag launch springs.

Good luck with the project and keep us posted with pics.

i have stock v8 springs from the vert and i have the springs from the 4cy coupe, so then i should use the stock v8 convertable springs instead of the drag springs?

hey can you do me a HUGE favor... I see your car is a manual trans.. can you measure the hole in the floor left to right and top to bottom for me... im converting mine from a auto to a 5 speed and was wondering if i was going to have to cut the hole bigger for the 5 speed shifter to come through?
