i posted on Socal stangs asking if i needed a new belt for my steeda underdrive pulleys they said no but also recommended a gatorback belt any one know or used this belt?

yeah, its supposed to be the best belt you can buy. unbreakable, its also expensive. if you want it get it, but i dont think your stock one will have a problem

they were talking about on the other forum the stock one slipping/squeling how much do they cost?

that aint bad i was thinking in the 100's lol on socal they said they should have them in autozone

i think i have heard of pulleys squeeking at first when you put them on but that goes away. no new belt is needed, there is not much of a size difference that the belt tensioner cant make up for

in that thread he was talking about metal shavings i was like wtf!? yeah i know it will squel at first. im thinking bout getting that gatorback

Yeah the gator backs are great especially if you are supercharged because there is alot of belt slip with boosted applications i know with my 6 cylender lots and lots of belt slip.

The gator back is well worth the cash

call me, i might be able to get some time. i was just going to time my car. well, make sure the timing is okay and see why im throwing a code

well, i got the codes to go away!!! fuel pump circut (i have a completely new pump and wires) and EGR (always throws that w/o a light)
