Sting targets drug sales at military housing sites

SAN DIEGO — Two sailors, along with a former sailor, are among nearly three dozen people arrested in connection with an undercover drug sting targeting drug sales at military housing sites, officials announced at a news conference Tuesday morning.

So far, 33 men and women have been arrested and authorities suspect at least 52 of selling narcotics at military housing across San Diego County, said Deputy District Attorney Chris Lindberg.

Most of the people arrested are not members of the military, Lindberg said.
