Straight exhaust/muffler delete

I took my mufflers off to see how I would like the sound. Besides the pipes banging on the axle, it sounded better than I thought. A local shop quoted me $110 for a straight pipe exhaust system. I think this sounds like a good price, better price than SLP or Pypes muffler deletes. Listening to clips on youtube, most of the time, the straight pipes sound better. Has anyone else gone this route?

I had SLP Loudmouths on my 05 GT. Loud as hell. Had to tone it down a bit. Too loud for the neighbors.

I might be in the same situation. I live for work at 4:30 A:M if I am going to the gym first and 5:30 if not. I believe the guy told me that it would be bolt on pipe w/welded tips. If so, I would be able to change back to the magnapacks in under 45 min.

That's EXACTLY what was going on with me. I don't drive the Stang to work very often, but I was leaving at 5:20 in the morning and the neighbors started making comments. I'm the president of our Homeowner's Association so I had to pretty much be an example and not a violator above the law.

I think I have decided against the straight/pipe muffler delete. I found a MAC o/r prochamber for sale. From what the seller told me, these can also hook up to the cats. I have yet to hear Maganpacks with prochambers for the 05+Mustang. I bet it would sound good.
