The wife and i(mostly me) have decided to head to the 1/4 for some drag racing this weekend, im going to find a hotel for the night and go to the track early in the morning, just incase you guys are feeling frisky heres the info...

It will be nice to see what your car runs in the 1/4. I think mine will get me kicked off the track without a roll bar.

i think there is a street legal drags in august and september but i wont be back till first week of october so i think that would be something we should look in to as a club to do...

I might do it

Dieing to open this car (both the Nitemare and GT500) up on the 1/4 mile. Especially the Shelby. With 331 gears, she just starts to get moving when I have shut down on the 1/8.

So thats saturday? How crowded is it there>?

well from what i hear from dante it get pretty packed quick, so that is why im going to stay in a hotel tomorrow night...

I have to think about it cause I would be running street tires ect so maybe not worth it I may have to pass. I need to cehck into studs and I might go

alright i had fun, 02blksaleen came up and watched the races, i made four passes today, and it was extremely hot today, high 90's/ low 100's... i had a couple of races with a turbo'd fox that was about even with me...

60' 1.730
330' 5.172
1/8 mile 8.044 at 86.87 mph best pass
1/4 mile 12.58 at 108.49 mph

this was the second pass i lost to the turbo'd fox by a car length but i did beat him on the drag race by a car,
i gave him WS card and invited him to sign on so he could meet some of the family i had lots fun despite the hot ass weather...
