they claim that its not a public road. I talked to 1WDRSH yesterday. Having lived there, he said that's all they do over there since they don't have a track nearby. Apparently there are planty of farms and secluded county roads up there.

We dont but since we still have a street encounters section, I guess we do. I know alot of people do it, but most dont post videos up with it....... easily could be used against the involved parties by authorities if they choose to check the site out.

Still seems dangers. I'm not worried about them hitting cars. It's dark, the road doesn't look very wide, and I'm not worried about the driver of the car as much as the mustang getting hurt :)

I over heard Emilio talking to folks at the Q last night. He mentioned something about getting rid of the Street Encounters section.

Maybe as Mods we should consider restricting the type of racing content posted??? I agree that street racing is dangerous and shouldn't be condoned by the club. Should we consider deleting the type of threads/videos/chats? Keep in mind, it may even affect sponsorship.

I have brought this up to the boss man several times........

I am all for it. The comment "Streetracing FTMFW" is more than enough for authorities to start hassling us when they see our cars around and such.....

Get rid of the Street Encounter section. We are being hippocrite by saying we are against street racing and then people posting about speed contest on the freeway. We are either against street racing or for street racing. There's no in between. Pick one side or the other.
If the street encounter section is deleted and the President post no more posting for racing on anything but the track. Then anyone posting any type of non-sanction, illegal racing should be banned. PERIOD! The warning is the President Posts. Then let the whining and bitching begin from Central Valley. Then let the banning begin.

Then we're like John Kerry. We were for street racing before we were against it.
