GT400 I dont know if he deals with everyone this way but I have sen him on more than one acount give people discounts. My buddy recomended them to me and he gets same deals I do.. If your that pissed off about it I wouldnt shop there either... If you like when I fill mine I will take yours with me and get you the 5 dollars discount that I get. It may even be a better price since I am filling two bottles

I take offense to you putting words in my mouth. I never said i was pissed, mad, upset, or even remotely miffed. I certainly wasn't as tightly wound about it as you are right now.

Compare your quote above to what I actually said....

I just put almost $400 in gears and fluids in my truck just to try to be competitive with you in Feb and you think I'm worried about 5 bucks?

I see now how you get all these facts wrong. It's the same reason you're so skinny. You get TONS of exercise RUNNING your mouth and JUMPING to conclusions.

Being an educated man yourself, surely you read the ENTIRE thread and came to the same conclusion many of us have (who have all been PMing each other over this).

Conclusion:

No one jumped in Phil's sh!t until HE opened his mouth and drooled ignorance all over himself and my thread.

Misquoting me and making me out to look angry, which I obviously wasn't and still am not is rather irresponsible. It also indicates that he fully didn't understand what he was reading or the tone by which I made my original and subsequent posts.

I will afford the lad some leeway in that it is diffucult to deduce inflection in written words. But he is of age and I assume he at least possesses a GED or higher education and has the most basic ability to tell the difference between "Nah, it's no big deal" and "if you're that pissed off".

Surely YOU see the difference, right?

What we have here is a young lad who has a shop where he does a lot of business and it apparently strokes him the wrong way when something is said about that shop he doesn't like or has an issue with. Instead of addressing it like someone his age, he goes on a verbal attack against the messenger who in this particular case, is the actual victim who lost money, albeit a miniscule amount.

Curiouser yet is how certain member(s) comeout of the woodwork to jump to Phil's defense as though he has your number on speed-dial or the orange flashing hot line.

You can defend Phill all you want and you're quite noble to do so. Trying make me look like some angry man over a lousy $5 when he KNEW I had already said it was no big deal is either immature or deliberate. If you want to defend that type of conduct...go right ahead, be my guest.

The whole purpose of this thread was to relate an experience to other members so they could guard against the same thing happening to them.

It appears that paranoia rears it's ugly head here on occasion and some think that everyone is out to get them. They feel picked on because they are constatly corrected. If one would just read the entire thread before blabbing, it might alleviate some of this drama.

Phil (Blackstallion06) fills his NOS bottles here for $30 and recommended them to me.

I go over and see the EXACT same guy and mention that Phil sent me.

They charge me $35 and say it's because they have been filling Phil's bottles before they had a PRICE INCREASE.

OK, I can handle a PRICE INCREASE ($5). Seems like everything is going up, right?

So then I see an ad last week (it's gone now) on Craigslist for Nitrous refills for $30 at........you guessed it, SuperShops (in Santee).

I called and asked if that was a sale and how long was the price good for.

That's our everyday price!

I just hung up without arguing or telling them who I was or that they had charged me $35 just the week before.

There is the possibility that they screwed me out of $5 just because Phil sent me there but I won't go THAT far.

I don't know him well, but seems like a good guy and I don't see him bashing people daily to make him feel better about himself.

Phil is actually a great guy, I have nothing to say against that. You are correct about the spelling but this is a car site and we cant expect gearheads to be spelling bee champs.......

My only gripe is that if you are writing something on here and the info is incorrect, please dont take offense when corrected. I wont myself. That is what gets it going between me and phil (oops should be Phil and I)all the time. Take the time to learn the info you are posting about so that all members benefit from it. I dont think that is too much to ask. I am not right all the time myself and have limited experience with alot of the stuff on here but very rarely will I post info about a product, car, whatever without knowing the info so that others benefit as well.

Phil in this thread you came at me for what I have no idea.....I never said word 1 to you or about you. Saying you were opening a Forum racer forum......what in this post was racer related with the exception of the product that was being purchased was for racing purposes? It was about the customer service....which I said before. I made a comment that it depletes the Ozone and should be gotten rid of anyway....oh well. I dont want to use it and wont use it. Unfortunately I am not as well off as some and can not afford the mods I would like at this time...I also have planned to wait until my warranty is gone to mod my engine....at that time it will have a KB on it. I never knew that WickedStangs was just for Racers....I thought it was for Mustang and Ford fans. If that is not true and it is for those that race only, I will leave right now. Have fun and enjoy life. I dont think I will be going anywhere though. If I correct bad information in a thread about something, dont take it as an insult......it is not personal in any way. It is for the benefit of others. If I am wrong about something please correct me in the thread and tell me why it is wrong.....that is how people learn. If I find something I know to be wrong, I almost always will point the other person to a link that contains the correct info on the subject. That is again, not to disrespect/pick on/insult anyone....it is for others to benefit from.

Remember GI Joe.....they always had those stupid commercials after the cartoon that said "the more you know". Basically saying that the more you learn the better....that is the way I see this. It is a resource for members and visitors to come and find info. If we continually have the wrong info posted then how do we look.

And yes Phil would beat me in a race, and his car is faster. I acknowledged that before and do not deny it.

No hard feelings, just make sure the info is correct. And correcting the info doesnt make me feel better about myself.......searching for the right info and learning it does...

Well GT400 I will do you a favor and quit posting under you threads if it makes you happy. I was just saying that I felt bad for telling you about shop and then you post about sorry mustang shop. I have never had a bad expirence there...

Now as for the attacks on the forum. I think its ****in really stupid. You are one of the best guys in person when it comes to sitting around and shooting the ****. When it comes to this damn forum I don't have words for your childish behavior. Can you grow up!!!! Its getting to the point where I personaly don't even want to get on here anymore. I feel bad for some of the new members that logg on and see some of the **** that is posted and talked about and the personal attacks on members. You are not the only one who chimes in to express all there negative thoughts or personal problems with members. I can remember when it was fun logging on to check recent posts and get some advice now and then with tech ect. This Forum has just going down the tubes lately. Its to the point I am embarrassed to give out a business card. I can remember stopping and waiting for you to come out of Harbor Freight just to personly give you a card and tell you about the website, events and the WickedStangs club in General. Was that a mistake??? Look I consider you a friend or what ever enough is enough. I hope you can see that I dont have hard feelings.
