i need a volts meeter i bumped the idle because the cam kept killing the motor i know the volts are off but but im f in poor and dont have a meeter if there is a trick to set the t.p.s. close to whare it needs to be with out a meeter (ya right) let me know:bo:
oh, nevermind. if you were close i was gonna help out, that thats a coupld hours away. try a local shop, see if they will let you borrow theirs, or you can buy one at sears or somehting for like 20-30 bucks
i was at my dads all weekend after the motor was done i set the idle at stock i cant think now like 695 and i set the t.p.s. at just under one volt but the cam is big not street legal and it kept killing the motor so i bumped the idle up to about 850 to 900 then the volts meeter broke so i dont know what the volts are at it weird if i mash the pedal down fast it wont go anyware but if you role in to it it has a lot of power weird i dont know if it has to do with the t.p.s.
i did not check the idle rpm a digital meeter when i bumped it up because it broke but its idling just under a grand so i would say its at 950 and loping hard
My husband which is 95beaststang on here has a volt meter. You can come over and use it if you want. We are also starting to have meetings now to get this I.E chapter started. This last one @ IN n Out was alright. It will get better though we will make sure of it. Anyway keep in touch we live right off of Gilman springs rd.
I have one also but I live right around the corner from them. So I am sure one of us can help you. Do you have a check engine light on also? Did you clean your EGR out at all?
