I'd like to start this mainly cause he hasn't. Rob will be heading out Oct.17th, 2009. If anyone would like to stay in touch with him you maybe be able to via his e-mail, tacrunner@cox.net. He's not even sure where exactly he will be headed, but today he came home for lunch and had to dress in his desert cammies, the realization that he was going to really leave hit me.

He has always been very proud to serve his country, 16 years and counting, and knowing that, I don't give him too much angst for doing so. I will always support him in anything he does as he is my best friend, and has made me very happily married going on 13 years! He would love to receive a note from any of you to lift his spirits while he is away.

Just wanted to thank Rob and Yolanda for all the support they've given BANGASTANG.com. Rob can't you just stay home and hang out with us.

Ok, I am sad to say that Rob (Tacrunner) left country last night. As soon as he gets an address I will let you all know. And Mii he would love a care package!! Actually, he would love anyone to send anything, lol, or have some correspondence with him. Keeping his spirits up is key for my guy. :smile:


He no longer has the ability to use his cell, so please no texts or messages.

Well this was nice of my wonderful, was almost embrassed but Myz is 100% right I miss you all and really wish I could just hang out and stay state-side but its the job. Few more years and done! I can say this about Afghanistan. It would be so beautiful here if you removed the smog and locals. Got a view this morning on the way to work and it was breath taking. No really I lost my breath due to the large cargo truck that didn't have a muffle barrelling black smoke lie it was no ones business.

I can say this, aside from the part of being away from Yolanda, I am at my dream job!! Danny, you know sorta what I'm doing and it FREAKIN rocks!!

Well I gota go for now - I'll catch you all later.
