Teal 50 Gear Install 8/2 SUNDAY (Installed)

August 2nd there will be an install at the Miramar Hobby shop. Installing 3.73 gears into the Shelby GT500 and 4.10 gears into Aqua 50's GT. We'll meet at the Miramar Way entrance between 0830 and 0845. Make certain you have current registration and proof of insurance so we can get you through the gate. Hope to see everyone there!!!!

The only thing we'll need for your diff is a crush sleeve and a new seal. The rest of the bearings and stuff are in great shape.

Yes, autozone or Kragen will have both of those parts.

2007-2009 SHELBY GT500 TR6060
The gear ratios on the 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500:
1st: 2.97
2nd: 1.78
3rd: 1.30
4th: 1.00
5th: 0.80
6th: 0.63

Anything bigger than 3.73 would make the 1st gear useless... I was going 4.10's but wifey bought the gears...
