the motor build my have to wait

well i'm hearing that our deployment might get cut short.so that means that
i might have to wait on the build up on the motor. i talked to Nate at Fresno Performance and got a price on the motor build with out the blower. $8,800
and i imagine the blower plus install & tune will cost about the same. so far I've given Nate 15,500 for the car but thats for the solid axle build/swap,all the rear suspention that Fresno Performance is fabbing up. the viper spec t-56, and all the front suspention.

this hobby/habbit is getting expencive fast.

why didn't you just buy a new car?? 15,000 in suspension... my god what are they doing a full tube chassis???

LOL! I could have done a solid axle swap for you for 1500 bucks.. with 31 spline axles and 4:10 gears... with tubular control arms!! tubular front K member is about 1500 with coil over front suspension.... where did your money go??

another question why are you paying him... thats all easy stuff to do??

i know the Steeda T56 is about 2400 bucks.. Dont know why you need a viper spec trans? all you needed was a 26 slpine input shaft..


personally i would have went with a Tko 600 but thats just me... please let us know were your money went... i never have heard nate be called a thief but 15,000!

well the rear suspention is alot like a Nascar set up (tq arm,panhard rod w/coilovers). and the only part of the front that will be re used is the spindels. Nate said that there would be some left over and he would tell me how much. i addes up the cost of the rear suspension,t-56 w/clutch&flywheel
and i'm only looking at 6k left to do the fuel system, front suspension, and start on the engine. and i still need to do brakes that i think will cost $1,500-2,000.

i've talked to Nate alot about all this and i know he's not trying to cheat me.

well i did a good job warping the front rotors but i think they can still be turned. tell me what you think is a fair price.
