<div>Covering the NMRA, we get to meet a lot of great racers and teams that compete in the sport. One team that always makes the haul out to the track is Team SAM. So when the Super Bowl came around not too long ago in Joliet, we knew something was up when the team didn’t show. We found out the the team was busy in fabulous Las Vegas, attending a NCOA Career Expo along with Military.com.<br />

David Saunders the Admissions Representative, Spencer Allen an Instructor at The School of Automotive Machinists,and Student Mike Sambrooks attended the conference bring with them the SAM Mustang. We have seen a lot of drag racing and cars under the lights before, but something about the light of Las Vegas make this car look a whole lot different then anywhere else we’ve seen it.<br />

SAM trains students for job placement in the field of performance engine building. Workers from NHRA, NASCAR and even open wheel racing have come out the SAM doors before.
