Hans Tore Tangerud from Kristiansand, Norway has created the ultimate website for old car brochures and magazine ads from some of the past and present car manufacturers.

Over 25 manufactures are included, with several out-of-business car companies like De Soto, Hudson, Packard and Studebaker featured. As much and advertising folks have flocked to the internet there is something about a well crafted magazine ad that will make you stop, look and read the copy. Great photography and creative ad copy were key to motivating someone to visit their local dealer.
One of our favorites was the 1970 Boss 302 Mustang magazine advertisement that ties in the Mustang’s racing success to the street car. You too could drive a street version of the car Parnelli Jones was burning up the SCCA Trans-Am series with.
The AMX Rebel Machine Ad was also a favorite. This 310 horsepower red, white and blue hot rod was the ultimate car from AMC in the mid 60’s. The car included a cool hood scoop and Hurst shifter. These cars are rare today but the owners are die-hard AMC fans and typically stand out at any show.

The Miscellaneous section also includes some great aftermarket manufacturer ads from Crager, Doug Thorley and Superior Wheels.
