The Wife has Come Over to Our Side!

OLD FART
OK, so my wife came home from a weekend concert with all of our music friends Sunday night. After dinner, we were enjoying a smoke and a cup of coffee out on the deck and she looks over and says to me "yanno what I'd like to do?" Of course I immediately thought she wanted me to knock down walls and rebuild the kitchen or something. She then says "After Amy is out of the house, I'd like to find a '66 ragtop Mustang and restore it." Amy will be going off to college in TWO SHORT YEARS... LOL.

YEEHAW!!!!!!!

This means I get to build my pole barn next summer. Believe me, this will be the most killer shop I can afford... LOL I don't know what she was smoking whilst with our concert-going friends, but I am thrilled! I told her it would be costly to build a '66, but she said "I don't care, I wanna do it."

Little does she know that the shop will also house the '06 and the Fox I am going to build for the track <GRIN>

Well after I see what kinda work schedule I have on ship I will be enrolling in UTI. So Jim dear brother in law. You better build a big shop! I plan on retiring and coming back to Mo to open a restoration and hot rod FAB shop. I want to pull cars from junkyards or peoples barns and restore them.. I will be going through, Auto Body, Hot rod fab, and Hot Rod engine building courses at UTI Would be nice to have 2 shop race cars as well. I like to build a 65 Falcon with a 427, tunnel ram, 2 4's that is tubbed...( cant help it guys you either love them falcons or hatem) Oh One of us needs to invest in a car trailer and a F 350 to pull them to the tracks

Kinda lofty there, Brother...

Although I'm certain we can work something out to get something started. You will have to move your ass back here, though.

Black they are full time course meaning they have drooms to live in. They don't have night classes. There is one a little closer in Rancho Cucamonga, CA about 1hr 40min away. The only campus that has night classes is Arizona.

"The Mustang is my shepherd, I shall not want. It maketh me burnout on black pavements; it leadeth me down the path of performance; It restoreth my soul; it leads me in the path of quickness for its names sake. Yea, though i walk through the shadow of the f-body, i shall fear no ls-1, for Torque art with me. Thy rod and thy piston, they comfort me. They prepareth a track for me in the presence of ricers; Thou hast anointed my bearings with oil; My car over powers. Surely traction and victory shall follow me all the days of my life, and i shall dwell in the house of the V8 forever."

That should do it, Goonies... LOL
