Impressive..work on your own cars? How did you get into Mustangs?

i do work on my own cars but i didnt do any of the work on this cobra....most of it came with it when I bought it...i just dont do brakes and electrical stuff LOL....seen too many things go wrong. Well mustangs have been my favorite since i was little...my first mustang was when i was 18....the cobra is my third. :)

Sorry for the 20 questions. I'm on watch till 0200 and very very board. I do brakes for alot of people so if ya need that help just ask. I'm on my 3rd and 4th Mustang at the momenr. Bought a comp orange 04 Cobra a few years back which has about 600hp and the daily is an 04 DSG mach1. Love my hunnies as we all do.

very nice! cant wait to see them! well i do need help with brakes actually lol....i need new brakes and my rotors turned...do you have the machine for that or any hook ups on that?

welcome to the club... if you must meet everyone, you'll have to head out to the central valley, then the carolinas. ROAD TRIP!

Honestly I would take this time to upgrade the rotors to cross drilled or slotted or both. Big controversy on some sites about turning rotors and them still being within the rite tolerence. But I believe the hobby shop can also do that and would be happy to do the work. We work on each others cars alot in this club..lol.

people thought i was kidding when i said i'd get my mach. long story short, you see the car i have right now. :)

yeah im trying to go the cheaper way right now on them lol dont have alot of money to spend right now on rotors

Do they need to be turned? Stock oem ones will run about 30 each and I paid about 250 for a set of four cross drill and slotted. Pretty sure we can get them turned at the auto hobby shop though.

if your gonna do it do it right. cause if you go cheap now your still gonna go expensive later. they arent that much and are worth just doing in my opinion

If it's BAD, they may be beyong turning. As in grooves and what not that are deep. Would know more by looking but I would be ready to purchase a new set. -Shane

yeah thanks I really didnt think about that til now....

If you need a set of stock front rotors, I have a pair which have only been turned once. $50
