I am sorry I came in that way! I simply wanted to answer questions that some of you asked this past Monday. In no way was I bragging about anything that I have. If anyone feels the same way please feel free to PM and let me know personally. As for introducing myself like this, it will never happen again. Unless I see a drastic change in the way you conduct business, I will not want any part of you nor will I suggest anyone do business with you.

I have had, or attempted to have THREE business dealings with you and TWO of the THREE went south REAL FAST!

The first business transaction I had with you (meaning Hardcore) was my purchase of a set of Parnelli Jones rear louvers. That sale went smoothly but of course, it was a no brainer. I hand you $200, you hand me the louvers. Done deal.

The second was looking at your hoods soon after you moved into your Lakeside facilty. All those hoods leaning against the wall, just about anything you could want was there. So I picked one out and you told me "We actually picked up 12 HP with that hood". WTF? How in the world can a hood add horsepower and just HOW are you measuring HP? I use a dyno and every time I've had my car on a dyno, the hood was UP! Needless to say, I decided not to buy a hood from you because of such a stupid comment. I was born at night but it wasn't last night. A hood cannot add 12 HP. Period. Transaction Failed.

The third opportunity was when you (meaning Hardcore) ran a Craigslist ad (Which was and still is improper by Craigslist's rules and standards-NO Business Advertising) saying you had aluminum driveshafts that will fit "ANY 05-09 GT" for $150. These were advertised as Saleen drive shafts. THis was during the second week of Feb, 2009. I called your shop and asked if they will fit BOTH an automatic AND a manual. Hardcore told me it would fit BOTH.

Having not had good luck in the past with Hardcore, I decided to call Saleen in Troy Michigna and asked them. I sent a link of your Craigslist ad to them and they flat out told me NOT to buy it as the shaft is designed to mate to a General Motors T56 and will not work in either at manual or automatic 05+ Mustang GT as advertised. If you had sold this to me and I found out you lied to me and stiffed me, I'd make sure the whole world knew it and to not do business with you. I can only wonder how many people bought those driveshafts only to find out they didn't work and how you handled irate customers. I did my homework and dodged a bullit, but how many others got taken?Transaction Failed...Again.

With me particularly, Hardcore has a 67% failure rate. Not very good. Not acceptable at all. And I'm just one person. I would have to see a lot of improvements on the integrity, business honesty and technical knowledge side of Hardcore before I recommend anything that involves Hardcore.

None of this is "personal", it's all businness transactions and a 2/3 failure rate.
I will still say hello, but until things improve GREATLY on YOUR end, that's ALL you will get from me.

I bought 42 driveshafts from Saleen and NEVER would I have told you that they fit your car! I have sold all but 3 of them and NEVER had a complaint! You can make them fit? Yes you can with modifications. Never did you ask how they can fit your car! It was the same with the PJ rear window Louvers... I said I had no hardware for it and you still bought it. If I ever made you upset I will do this for you..... and tell me if this is going over board!!!

I will give you one of the Saleen Aluminum driveshafts of your choice.

AND

I will Give you one of the hoods that I have upstairs that don't belong to any customers. Which I have about 5 or so.

I have NEVER mislead a customer into buying a part that wouldn't fit their car. I have extensive experience in our cars and would never jeoperdize my reputation with something silly like that. Let me know personally if I ever do anything like this and don't let this boil in your head. The longer you leave this lingering the more damage it causes. That is why I don't hold a grudge! Let's move foward since these are the issues that cause our clubs headaches. Can we move Foward?:rock:

looks like a few bad apples left a bad image in peoples minds.

I managed an entire area for a drugs store chain for many years. Although I had my own responsibilities, my performance was based on the performance of my subordinates. It was very difficult to get individuals to think and act as I did, becasue they are individuals. Someone gets out of line, discipline is called for.

Bottom line is that Ernie cannot be personally responsible for the actions of other, but he can surely be an influence either way. I am sure by his actions and words on this thread, that he does not condone the thug mentality. Right Ernie?

Should something such as that occur, I'm sure Ernie would love to hear about it so he can take appropriate action. The last thing a business owner wants is negative publicity.

If someone had acted in an inappropriate manner towards myself or my friends, heck yeah I'd be pissed. This thread has been a good place to vent and bring those issues out in the open, so that the right people can take corrective measures.

I could do a simple you tube search and give ya about 20 reasons why I would never have anything to do with your club. Some of the stunts done by your members are down right dangerous and highly illegal. Now I am by no means an angel, nor is any Cobra owner honestly, but come on.........I have never done any kind of business with you and can honestly say I have never talked to you. I have chatted with some of your members and actually have made some friends. I just think we have two entirely different types of clubs. We are very family/race oriented, your more flash/what makes your wallet thicker oriented. I have seen your cars at shows and respect them and the huge amounts of money spent on them. Some of your members have attitudes and some of ours have the same. You will have that everywhere......... My biggest problem with your club is it seems that they always have to have the center of attention. Always gotta be in the front of everything, some always got to drive like nutts. My wife follwed a few of your crew to a meet and was so pissed off when she finally got there, after getting lost a few times, that she wanted to leave and it was purely because of the way they were driving and acting........... We DO NOT do that here and as long as they know this then fine. I dont have much say in the matter anyways.

CWO, you are right there wont be one in this club, but that is part of the mystique of the MUSTANG.....everyone is free to express there vision and all of them are different. I know I dont agree with alot of the mods people do as I wouldnt want them....AKA (20" rims on stangs, Lambo doors, and some others) oops all most forgot that power adders too....LOL Just kidding. I dont like NOS on a Stang. Just my opinion....

Not defending either side of this, just stating that each car is that persons vision. Whether anyone likes it or not doesnt matter.....
